American Feral

2016

Pigs and politics are at play.  Materials, process and fire create a self-illustrating language of opposition and failed manufacture.  Privileged (porcelain) and proletariat (steel) are mixed together creating humorous and monstrous outcomes.

Inspired by a new way of making, forcing opposing materials together with uncertain outcomes embodies rich metaphorical implications for making it in America.
